→ Fruit Juices

01 - 1/2 cup passionfruit juice (fresh or bottled)
02 - 3/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed preferred)
03 - 1/4 cup pineapple juice

→ Sweetener

04 - 1 tbsp grenadine syrup

→ Garnish & Extras

05 - Ice cubes
06 - Orange slices (for garnish)
07 - Fresh mint sprigs (optional)
08 - Passionfruit pulp (optional, for texture)

# How to Make It:

01 - Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes.
02 - Pour 1/4 cup passionfruit juice into each glass, followed by 3/8 cup orange juice and 2 tbsp pineapple juice.
03 - Slowly pour 1/2 tbsp grenadine syrup down the inside edge of each glass. The syrup will sink and gradually rise, creating a sunrise effect.
04 - Garnish each glass with an orange slice, a sprig of mint, and a dollop of passionfruit pulp if desired.
05 - Serve immediately without stirring to preserve the layered effect.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The way the grenadine slowly rises through the juice is such an easy party trick that always gets a smile.
  • It tastes like a tropical getaway, but you can whip it up in minutes with just a handful of ingredients.
02 -
  • If you add the grenadine too fast, it muddles the whole drink instead of creating that sunrise—go slow, even if you’re tempted to rush.
  • Mixing juices ahead of time works, but save the grenadine and ice for the very last moment for the cleanest, most dramatic effect.
03 -
  • Stack the ice high—it keeps the colors from blending too fast, especially if it’s hot out.
  • If you want a lighter drink, top with a splash of sparkling water for fizz without muddling the colors.
